How It Began
We met at a concert. Ok, it was at one of my performances. I just released my third commercial album as an inspirational rap/pop artist. The very first time that I saw her was magical. She was reserved, but driven. I could see this in the way that she interacted with people and her environment. She had the perfect combination of chocolate and cocoa as I thought her dark skin was heavenly. Of course I had to approach her and ask for her number or social media.

“One love that we both share in common is our passion for traveling to domestic and international getaways. We have traveled collectively to countries/territories such as, The Dominican Republic, Thailand, Canada, The Bahamas, Belize, and a plethora of beautiful US cities and towns. We love learning and experiencing new cultures and history. We are BIG FOODIE’s who love trying out new cuisines (We are going to dine with our first Michelin Star Chef soon). Our biggest dinner excursion was when we dined and dance in Gianni Versace’s home (Miami Beach). Chikilia and I, as a gift to ourselves, had a trip planned to Barcelona, Spain in April of 2020. This was one of our bucket destinations and favorite cultures. We really wanted to try authentic paella.
We were all set to go. We partied our ass off New Year’s Eve and then BOOM!!!! - Covid-19 came through like a wolf in heat on wall street. We were stuck. What were we to do? Should we “Walk By Faith” or apply “His Wisdom”? We both were in deep prayer.
It’s no secret that we both love the ocean and beaches (especially ChiChi), which is why I wanted to propose at the most grandiose location, with an angelic beach/cityscape backdrop that Spain had to offer! Therefore, unfortunately, the wand has written and we were forced to triumph on. In a nutshell, I had to activate my Black Panther Powers and set our love journey on a new course.
We were ready. In between running back and forth (Remember. We are under quarantine orders. So, I could not hire someone, in good conscious, during this pandemic that was tearing through the world. Once we got to the location, it got SUPER windy and cold and it was a little rainy! We ate some of our cheese, crackers, and pepperoni on a blanket near this beautiful windmill. We laughed as the camera scowled at us and then I made my move. I asked her to pour me some wine and while her back was turned, I hit the camera (Beep Off), and got into position. When she turned it was boom - RING IN YO FACE, NOW WHAT??? (Kevin Hart voice again). She said yes. We kissed. We danced. We drank of good wine. We hung out until the sun scampered off. This is our story and we are sticking to it.

FORMAL ATTIRE: Men are required to dress in their finest black tux/suit w pure white dress shirt. All black shoes. Socks can be unique. / Women are required to dress in their finest pure white dress/suit/gown. Shoe Cam will be activated. Show off those heels and flats (No Sneakers)
